Oregon Esthetics Certification Requirements
Certification Requirements for Estheticians and Advanced Estheticians in the State of Oregon
Once you successfully complete and graduate from your esthetics program at our school, you will need to receive your licensure to become a Licensed Esthetician in the state of Oregon. This testing is mandated at a state level and is overseen by the Oregon Board of Cosmetology.
Once you graduate from our school, you will need to schedule your practical esthetics exam.
This includes performing a number of pre-determined esthetics services on a live model in front of a state-approved proctor. All of our instructors are state-certified proctors, which means that you will return to our school after graduation to take this portion of the state certification process.
Upon satisfactory completion of this portion of the certification process, you will need to schedule with the state a time to sit for your written examinations, which include the Oregon Laws and Rules Examination and an Esthetics Field of Practice Examination. You will pay the state directly all of the fees associated with taking these examinations.
